Our Mission
Aurora-Christine School of Arts educates preschoolers and first graders with the skills and experience they need to succeed. Through a safe, caring, and exceptional environment we inspire and enhance every young scholar's creative abilities through superior individualized care using database development programming.
Aurora-Christine School of Arts offers a unique combination of art and education for children ages infant to six. Through the integration of art and education, AC allows students to become actively involved in their learning process. We offer full days and half days Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
All students from preschool through first grade are welcome to enroll and do not face discrimination based on their religion, ability, or color.
It is the responsibility of parents and guardians to ensure that all paperwork and student information is completed. Medical reports and emergency contact information must be up-to-date at all times. Prior to enrollment, an application must be submitted.
Program
We place art at the core of our program. Our school is designed to take education one step further by incorporating science, social studies, technology, engineering, phonics, and math in addition to art. It is accomplished through project-based assignments, which are accessible to children of all ages, and divided into time blocks throughout the week. In this way, children can see the beautiful process of acquiring knowledge as they embark on a lifelong learning journey.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
We are delighted to announce that Aurora-Christine School of Art has partnered with Pamela Gordon, a renowned reading specialist. In 1985, Pamela created "Learning Phonics With A Rhythm and A Beat" to teach children letter recognition, sounds, vowels, and consonants from preschool to third grade. As a result of her guidance, children aged 3-6 gradually learn to read and are able to do so on their own.
